Has been an awesome experience here at You Make CrossFit Gym. The year and a half has gone quickly. Our group has incredible energy and pumps everyone up! I enjoy the coaching. Even though we do group workouts it feels like personal training and one on one. I get lots of feedback that helps me improve. I have really been happy with my weight loss journey. With the nutrition coaching I lost 30 lbs. My transformation is ongoing and I look forward to continuing to get stronger and leaner. As a bonus I used to have back pain every now and then and would get adjusted. Since starting CrossFit I have not needed and adjustment. If you are thinking about starting I would encourage you to start now!

I'm really loving my time with my gym You Make CrossFit. I've been with them for about 5months now & can't really think of anything negative to say since I joined. I was new to CrossFit & new to group workouts so I was a little nervous at first. Coach Efrain was really great because he broke everything down for me since I was new with some one on one personal training classes & then when he thought I was ready I joined the group classes. The group classes are really fun because everyone is so welcoming and we all push each other so it makes for a great workout. The other thing I like about the classes is the different workouts Coach E would have planned for us. I feel it's a good mix of workouts throughout the week that target different parts of the body. Being that I'm 37 now and had use to have some back pain, I feel the best I ever felt. I'm not big on leaving reviews but for Coach E, it's the least I can do to say how thankful I am for my time there.

I've had a great experience working out at You Make for the last four years! Efrain is an encouraging, knowledgeable and super helpful coach. I was a little intimidated to join a Crossfit gym at first, but everyone is super friendly and we cheer each other on to achieve our own personal goals. All the workouts are customizable to each person's ability. I've gained strength and improved cardio. At 61 years old, I'm feeling healthy and strong!

I started my CrossFit journey with Efrain July of 2021. He’s a great personal trainer. He focuses on form before adding on weight. I’ve seen such a change in my body. I’ve lost weight and gained so much muscle which has boosted my self confidence. Love the group classes! Everyone is so friendly and encouraging. Class is kid friendly. I’m a single mom and being able to take my son with me has been a huge reason why I continue to attend. I have no mom guilt.

I came to Coach Efrain struggling with my workouts due to a knee injury. I was nervous at first because I have always been afraid of Crossfit simply because I have never done it and they seem to have such a tight knit community with their own language and lots of movements I am not familiar with. He took the time to talk through the importance of strength training to recover from and prevent future injuries. I've been working with him for over a month as my personal trainer and have seen vast improvement in my mobility. He is great at working around my schedule and I have even gotten comfortable learning some Crossfit techniques. Another bonus is nutrition coaching. He gets so excited about food and healthy eating my diet has improved just by trying out some of the simple changes he suggests.

I restarted my crossfit journey back in Ocotber of 2019 and through consistency with the right motivation and nutrition coaching I was able to drop 40 pounds in 5 months. If you want to see a positive change in your life and gain more confidence and self esteem then this gym is for you as the owner is a great personal trainer. You will see a return on your investment as long as you keep an open mind and stay motivated.

I've been mostly inactive and dealing with some chronic issues for over a decade now. After many years of dabbling with "gym memberships" that I didn't really use I found Efrain at You Make CrossFit. I reached out and expressed my concerns about my back, shoulder and knee (previous injuries). He tailor-made a personal training program to get me moving again and restore my confidence in doing the compound movements I know make up a great workout. After about 5 weeks I've seen a bunch of the expected benefits: noticeable weight loss, increased muscle definition, better mobility, increased range of motion/flexibility and increased endurance.

In addition to what I expected, there are some huge benefits that took me by surprise: I'm much less impacted by our intense heat - this is really handy when juggling my work in the field (construction) with face-to-face meetings with clients. I've also been sleeping very well and I've seen a considerable improvement in my memory and effectiveness.

Efrain has been adamantly ensuring I get my mechanics and form right before adding weight and going for it. I'm really competitive so this has been huge for keeping me going without pushing myself to the point of injury which I know I otherwise would.

I'm very grateful I found Efrain and I'm at the point of enjoying my workouts and looking forward to each one. I'm excited to see where the future takes me and know Efrain will guide me to where I want to be.

I joined Scorpion in 2018 after being burnt out on globo gyms and programming my own workouts. Growing up as an athlete I knew I needed a gym with a coach that would push me and I found just that with Scorpion! While I’ve had setback with injuries (not from the gym!) I’ve continued to get stronger and lose fat. Crossfit forces me to do the cardio I’ve actively avoided after playing soccer for 15+ years. Weightlifting has always been a passion, that mixed with the functional training of CrossFit, and working on nutrition have progressed my results to a place I didn’t expect! It’s not only changed my body composition but grown my confidence. Scorpion is a family where everyone encourages each other and pushes one another to the next level!
